The RAS generatored has outlasted the wolf by 2 years
The petrol Wolf 1200 generator was noisy and slow to react to changes in electrical demand, especially noticeable when used to power the circular saw.

The very first time we started the generator it took several attempts to get it going, subsequently getting the wolfs engine started easily enough. The wolf lasted about a year before the starting cord snapped.
After the untimely demise of the wolf generator, I bought an RAS petrol generator from l’eclercs. The RAS seems to have a Honda engine; it is much quieter than the Wolf and has lasted longer. The RAS generator has no problem powering the drill, circular saw or mixer.
