Red has always signalled danger where as brown is the colour of earth. In my house I now have several different colours for live, all confusing. Can you possibly answer me a question, I have picked up a large job where a now defunct electrician has wired the top floor lighting using the 3 plate system, do you know if this is acceptable in France.
